What seafarers ask us

Is this the ship's internet?

No. It's your own personal satellite Wi-Fi, separate from the ship's systems. Your data and your account are yours, not the company's.

Am I allowed to use it on board?

Rules are different for each company and vessel. Check with your master or your company's policy before joining, and set the dish where it doesn't disturb ship equipment.

Does it work in the middle of the ocean?

On most major trading routes, yes. Send us your vessel's usual route and we'll check coverage before you buy anything.

Can my family load data from home?

Yes. Your family can pay our office in the Philippines and we load the data to your account remotely, even while you're at sea.

Can I share with my crewmates?

Yes, if you want. Make a Wi-Fi voucher for a friend with a GB limit. They use their own login, and your data stays under your control.

What happens when my data runs out?

Your internet pauses until you load more. Message us, or ask your family to top up for you.

Why is it slower sometimes?

Heavy rain, the dish being blocked by cranes, masts or containers, and many devices streaming at once can all reduce speed. Message us and we'll check your setup remotely.
